Vibrating feeder installation commissioning and maintenance tips

1.Vibrating feeder is used for batching and quantitative feeding material to ensure uniform feeding stability,horizontal installation should be adopted to prevent self flowing, declined10 degree installation should be adopted if there is continuous feeding, declined 15 degree installation can be adopted for viscous material and large water content material.
2 .After the installation, 20mm level lateral clearance should be left for vibrating feeder, suspension device should adopt flexible joint.
3. Before non-load test, please fix all bolts, especially the anchor bolt of vibration motor tighten the bolts again after continuous operation for 3-5 hours.
4. Two vibration motor must be reverse rotation when test run to check the current and noise stability, if any abnormal conditions, please stop the feeder and solve it timely.
5 Motor bearings should be lubricated every two month, for high temperature season bearings should fill the lubricating oil every month.

5 Ways to Solve Bucket Elevator Ash Leakage

(1) Whole Casing flange gasket of bucket elevator damages or no flange gasket, please change new gasket, glue with the sealing glue, retighten the flange bolts.
(2) If material leaks from the head section and bottom base gap, please add a gasket or sealant.
(3) If altitude difference is too large, it will increase material feeding pressure, please change the material feeding method, add a feeding buffer device.
(4) Drive chain occurs idle rotation, please adjust the chain length. 
(5) Casing installation is not straight, please adjust perpendicularity of the casing length.

Working Principle and Performance of Star unloader

Star unloader is the mainly ash discharge equipment for stockpile, feedstock, quantitative feeding, pneumatic conveying and dust removal equipment system. In general, it is consist of rotor wheel with blades, casing, sealing, reducer and motor etc.
Working principle : when the star unloader works, the dust dropsinto the valve by gravity, thenfills the star blade on the top and side fully. The blade rotor rotates together with the reducer rotate shaft which is driven by motor, the dust will be discharged by self-gravity.
The outlet of bag dust collector and cyclone dust collectorshould be equipped with rotary valves, to discharge the dust into the dust collector hopper and ensure the air tightness of the whole dust collector system. Rotary valve is the most advanced discharge device in china, usually can be used as one of the most important equipment in dust collector system. TH bucket elevator hopper type can be divided into: shallow hopper, deep hopper and triangle hopper
Shallow hopper mouth and back wall angle is small, which can be loaded with less material, but it is easy to unload. Suitable for the transport of wet, sticky, and other liquid materials such as cement, wet sand, gypsum powder, etc.

The Installation and Debugging of Scraper Conveyor

Scraper conveyor has the wide advantages of reasonable structure, modern design, good sealing and handling safety etc. But how to install the scraper conveyor before put into use? Here PK Machinery will show you the answer as follows.
1. Before installation, carefully check the parts whether are complete.
2. Scraper and scraper chain as the important component of scraper conveyor, before installation, it is necessary to check the two links whether are smooth and solid, whether the chain joint rotation is flexible. If not, one should be handled in time.
3. The installation angle should be less than 15 °,the foundation should be solid and reliable.
4. Each segment is connected tag order factory assembled according to manufacturer. It should ensure that the cabinet horizontal level, particularly to ensure the flatness of the housing wall, is not allowed at the upper and lower flange connection, about dislocation, in order to ensure the smooth running scraper chain.

Analysis on Chain Deviation of Buried Scraper Conveyor and Its Countermeasure (I)

1. The Influence of Chain Deviation of Buried Scraper Conveyor
1) The chain deviation causes excessive clearance between the scraper and one side of conveyor trough, which will reduce material average speed, be not good for material internal friction increase and the overcome of external friction resistance between material and trough wall, eventually reduce the conveying efficiency. On the contrary, undersized clearance will increase the conveying resistance, accelerate the wear of scraper and conveyor trough, and finally reduce the conveyor service life.

2) The chain deviation increases the noise, which is caused by the crash between scraper and conveyor trough wall, and causes the scraper damage further.

2. The Reason Analysis of Chain Deviation

1) Poor installation quality leads to chain deviation.
-The straightness accuracy of whole conveyor is out of tolerance.
-The head and tail pulleys are not on one center line.
-The pulley and shaft are deflective installation.
-Conveyor casings are deforming.
-Conveyor chains are deforming.
-The wear of rail is uneven.
-The inconsistent tension adjustment leads to tail shaft deflection.
Above conditions can lead to chain deviation.

2) Material impact leads to chain deviation.
The unstable material drop point causes the uneven pressure on both sides of scraper, which is easy to cause the chain deviation phenomenon.

3) Uncertain factor leads to chain deviation
Due to the complicated force conditions, long distance buried scraper conveyors or the ones with large-sized trough, often have chain deviation phenomenon because of existing larger frictional resistance, even if they are well installed.

How many types of vibration screen sieve mesh do you know?

Vibration screen sieve mesh is one of the main components of vibrating screen. If the sievemesh can not be chosen correctly, it will even affect the screening efficiency, when screening material is unqualified ( mesh is over sized), materials will accumulatedon the sieve badly (mesh is too small, material will accumulate on the sieve and lead to screen mesh damages). Do you know Circular Vibrating Screen damper?it’s a device which limits vibrating screen horizontal vibration.
May be you feel puzzled,is there any vibration in the horizontal direction?The answer is no In theory, but the practice has proved that it exists, the reasons are as follows:
(1) The distribution of material on the screen mesh is uneven.
If the material is uneven,it can lead to the uneven force for screen box ,thus vibrating error appears.
(2) Installation error.
The Circular Vibrating Screen needs horizontal installation,but in the process of installation, the error will inevitably occur, resulting in a height of four supports occur small deviation, but the small deviation will be amplified by the vibration exciter, thus it will result in greater vibration deviation.
(3) the stress error of the spring.

As we all know, it is only a reference value to measure the standard of a vibrating spring,if the stress in the same reference range, it will be defined as the same model of vibration spring, therefore, it is hard to avoid the stress error.
There is a great harm to the vibrating screen box horizontal vibration If you don’t solve in time, the side wall of the screen box will be worn, and the worse result is that the side wall will be worn out, which will affect the normal operation of the circular vibrating screen.
So how to avoid the occurrence of such an accident? Here we will introduce the key part of the circular vibrating screen - damper.
As shown in figure, the structure of the damper is composed of 6 parts:adjusting bolt, flange, spring base, spring, rubber base and rubber.
When the screen box appears the horizontal vibration error, the internal spring of damper will occurs a reverse thrust to the sieve box, thus it will restrict the screen box in the horizontal movement to avoid the horizontal deviation.
