1.Reduce or adjust belt deviation;
2.Add lubricating oil to components of belt conveyor;

The Installation and Debugging of Scraper Conveyor

1. Before installation, carefully check the parts whether are complete.

2. Scraper and scraper chain as the important component of scraper conveyor, before installation, it is necessary to check the two links whether are smooth and solid, whether the chain joint rotation is flexible. If not, one should be handled in time.

3. The installation angle should be less than 15 °,the foundation should be solid and reliable.

Maize can not be sieved without vibrating screen

 Vibrating screen should be adopted in the beginning of the removal of impurities during the production of maize starch,in order to ensure a safe production of raw materials,so the removal of impurities is very necessary, maize raw materials contain a variety of impurities, dust, organic impurities, inorganic impurities. Do you know Circular Vibrating Screen damper?it’s a device which limits vibrating screen horizontal vibration.
May be you feel puzzled,is there any vibration in the horizontal direction?The answer is no In theory, but the practice has proved that it exists, the reasons are as follows:
(1) The distribution of material on the screen mesh is uneven.
If the material is uneven,it can lead to the uneven force for screen box ,thus vibrating error appears.
(2) Installation error.
The Circular Vibrating Screen needs horizontal installation,but in the process of installation, the error will inevitably occur, resulting in a height of four supports occur small deviation, but the small deviation will be amplified by the vibration exciter, thus it will result in greater vibration deviation.
(3) the stress error of the spring.

 

As we all know, it is only a reference value to measure the standard of a vibrating spring,if the stress in the same reference range, it will be defined as the same model of vibration spring, therefore, it is hard to avoid the stress error.
There is a great harm to the vibrating screen box horizontal vibration If you don’t solve in time, the side wall of the screen box will be worn, and the worse result is that the side wall will be worn out, which will affect the normal operation of the circular vibrating screen.

As shown in figure, the structure of the damper is composed of 6 parts:adjusting bolt, flange, spring base, spring, rubber base and rubber.
When the screen box appears the horizontal vibration error, the internal spring of damper will occurs a reverse thrust to the sieve box, thus it will restrict the screen box in the horizontal movement to avoid the horizontal deviation.

How to Choose the Scraper and Chain of Buried Scraper Conveyor? (II)

1. Selection of  Scraper Conveyors Chain
On the basis of meeting the adaptability to material, the chain should be selected reasonably according to maximum working load.
1) Bush roller chain should not be used for dust conveying, and should be first selected to transport the material which is easy to float chain. But in general, die forging chain is used as the first choose.
2) Base on the assurance of maximum chain working load, in order to maximize its carrying capacity,
it is best to use the chains which allowable load is close to maximum working load.
3) On the condition of meeting strength requirement, it should be try to reduce chain weight.
4) Different kinds of chains are used for different arrangement form.
MS / MC / MG buried scraper conveyors: three types of chains can be used, bush roller chain, die forging chain and double chain.
MZ / MP buried scraper conveyors: die forging chain
MK / ML buried scraper conveyors: die forging chain and double chain

 

2. Selection of Chain Pitch
The selection principle is to minimize the maximum dynamical load and up & down movement speed of chains. If the chain shake is too big, it will destroy normal material transportation, especially vertical conveying. And big dynamical load will lead to the increase of chain weight or decrease of its service life. 
3. Selection of Scraper Pitch
The scraper pitch can be determined according to the conveyor trough width, but it must be adaptable to chain pitch. If the scraper pitch is too big, it can lead to relative slippage between various material layers in conveyor trough, so as to increase energy consumption and even destroy normal material transportation. On the contrary, too small scraper pitch will increase the traction weight and energy consumption. 
The scraper pitch generally equals to chain pitch. When the load is small, the scraper pitch can be chosen the twice of chain pitch. Meanwhile the material features should be taken into consideration, for example, when conveying viscous material, the manufacturer can install a special form scraper, to remove the sticking of material inside conveyor trough, and prevent most viscous material bonded on the inner wall of conveyor trough.

 

Long life chain trough scraper conveyor

1. Scraper chain conveyor should be no-load running for a certain time when start the equipment every time, Then feed the material after the equipment working normally. We should keep feeding the material evenly, sudden feeding or over-load running is not allowed.
2. Should not stop the machine with load if there is no special condition.
Generally,we should stop the equipment when the material in the trough were discharged completely after we stop feeding the material.
3. If the whole production line is consist of sets of conveyor, we should
start the last set first when start the whole system, then start the others one by one . The order will be opposite when stops.

 

4. Operators should check the spare parts of the conveyor timely, especially the conveyor chain and driven device.
5. During operating, we should protect the conveyor from the iron, large hard objects and impurities to avoid damage the equipment.
6. Should keep all the bearing and driven device lubricated well. However, should not lubricate the conveyor chain, support guide rail, head wheel and tail wheel etc.
7. In general, the buried scraper conveyor should be minor repair every half year, medium repair every year and overhaul every three years. For overhaul the buried scraper conveyor, we should remove and clean all the spare part, replace all the wear part. For the motor and reducer, should be maintained and repaired according to their technical requirement.

What is the relation between sieve inclination and screening efficiency or capacity?

During the use of vibrating screen, the particle size of sieve material particle size is different, the accuracy and requirement of material are different, the capacity is also different, thus the relation between sieve surface inclination and capacity is inseparable,as well as the screening efficiency. Now PK Machinery will explain the relation as follows:

The angle is closely related with the sieving equipment capacity and the screening efficiency. When the angle increases,the casting strength of the oversize material will increase, thus the forward movement speed of material on the screen surface will quicken, meanwhile the capacity of vibrating screen increases, however, the time of the material staying on the screen surface will be shortened, reducing the probability of particles going through sieve, thus screening efficiency will reduce. 

On the contrary,the capacity will be reduced,and the screening efficiency will be increased. In order to make the sieve screening efficiency ti be controlled in the ideal scope, the screen surface angle of circular vibrating screen generally ranges from 15 to 25 degrees, the sieve surface angle of linear vibrating sieve ranges from 0 to 8 degrees.  

What is the applicable range of flour vibrating screen ?

Flour vibrating screen is designed specifically aimed at sieving flour, potato starch, corn starch, wheat starch, cellulose, soybean, peanut protein, starch and other starchy materials and starch materials derivatives, it is suitable for sieving,impurity removal and loose material, etc., to adapt 24 hours of continuous production, processing capacity with large work requirements.

Flour vibrating screen commonly uses 20mesh, 24mesh, 30mesh, 40mesh, 60mesh. The use of vibrating screen mainly to remove lint, stone, bran, worm, nail and other impurities. The models are: 400, 600, 800, 1000, 1200, 1500, 1800, And material contact parts must SUS304 or 316L.

Principle of flour vibrating screen adopts motor as the vertical excitation source, and the motor is installed at both ends with eccentric weights, the rotary motion of the motor can be horizontal, vertical, inclined three types, then this movement is transferred to the screen surface. Adjusting the phase angle of the upper and lower ends  which can change the movement trajectory of the material on the screen surface.

How to debug linear vibration sieve?

1. Linear vibrating screen generally adopts three-phase alternating current. Please ensure correct power supply connection ,no conductive material, specialized alternating current socket.
2. The base must be fixed firmly by bolt to guarantee a same height difference front and back supporting seat , the feeding end and discharge end in a horizontal plane, otherwise screening effect will not reach the requirements of qualified products.
3. Check the flatness of screen mesh, ensure screen mesh is installed on the frame correctly, keep the screen mesh in the same horizontal plane to prevent screen tilt, and screening materials not up to the ideal state.
4. Check the each component of linear vibrating screen to ensure they’re firm and reliable, all the bolts must be tightened without looseness.
5. Ensure there is 30-50mmgap between linear vibrating screen and the surrounding fixtures, and check whether screw is locked well or not.
6. Take off the transportation support before starting up the linear vibrating screen, and add the support again until the vibrating screen operation becomes normal.
7. Pay attention to observe the material trajectory after starting up, adjust the screening state according to the material screening trajectory. 

How to Joint TD Bucket Elevator Rubber Belt ?

The traction component of the TD belt bucket elevator mainly adopts bucket belt with interval of a certain distance by fixing the screw and the rubber belt. General rubber belt includes nylon rope core rubber belt and steel wire cord rubber belt. So how to joint the wire rope core rubber belt to a ring form? Today, PK Machine will provide you with a brief introduction.

There are three kinds of joints of rubber belt:mechanical joints, heat vulcanization and cold bonding. When connecting the steel wire rope core belt, it needs a belt type bucket elevator special steel wire rope clamp to connect the belt ends. As shown in Figure:
The detailed operation method is putting the ends of the belt firstly according to the size of the fixture, and then use the screw bolt ratchet. The benefits is simple operation, low cost, relatively strong belt connection, not easy to fracture, etc.
