It is well-known that scraper conveyor is widely application in cement, metallurgical and other industries. It’s pretty easy to mix with foreign objects during the conveying process which can lead to wear of the chain. Here PK Machinery will carefully illustrate methods to maintain scraper conveyor chain.
1.What should we do first is that to ensure all pins and pin screws are fixed before using scraper chain. Please make a regular check and keep maintenance records about the pins’ tension and their required torque.
2.Please check the scraper chain periodically so as to keep it running in a good situation. Once found that scraper chain is loose or there is abnormal sound caused by hitting guide rail rack, must please adjust chain tension timely.
3.Please ensure that connection between chains can move freely if change scraper chains.
